Hey there, I'm Lauren! It's hard to believe I started Something Blu almost 10 years ago after planning my own wedding in 2010. After becoming a certified wedding planner through Temple University, interning with the area's top planners and volunteering for non profit events, I was more than prepared to start helping couple's plan a truly stress free wedding.
When I'm not planning weddings I'm in Mom mode chasing after my wild little boy, Oliver. Most weekends are spent hanging with my biggest supporter, my husband, and our 2 dogs outside at the park, gardening in our backyard or working on home renovation projects.
Being able to give back has always been extremely important to me. Since 2015 I've been volunteering with a local dog rescue on their fundraising team helping to raise over $80K annually and fostering dogs in our home when we can.
My family makes my heart whole. Our moments and memories together are my favorite.
In my next lifetime I'd like to come back as Joanna Gaines.
It's hard to contain our excitement when we know there will be a dog present on the wedding day!
As clichè as that sounds, watching two people truly in love just warms my soul.
